Marty Moore, O.D.

 Dr. Moore is a lifelong Boone County native and grew up in the Madison/ Danville area.  After graduating near the top of his class from Scott High School in 1995, he went on to attend West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV.  He received a bachelor of science degree in Exercise Physiology in 2000.  After spending some time working in the private sector, Dr. Moore then enrolled into the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, IN completing his Doctorate degree in the spring of 2009.  During his education he completed extensive clinical training in the areas of primary care, ocular disease, pediatrics, low vision, binocular vision, and contact lens.  He also completed 6 months of intensive training through both the Huntington, WV and Dayton, OH Veterans Affairs vision services units.

In his free time Dr. Moore enjoys playing golf, running, and both West Virginia University and Indianapolis Colts football.  Dr. Moore currently resides in Boone County with his wife Melissa and two wonderful children.  Melissa is also a Boone County native and currently teaches elementary school in Logan County, WV.
